New (well, returning) Podcast, Procreate Brushes and Confronting Your Process
Rachel Bradley's Newsletter #12
New Videos/Podcast
Noah and I have launched two new episodes of Creators Chat! (Now available on Spotify!)
For those of you who weren't around when we last released these- it's a casual format, unscripted, often unplanned chat video/podcast in which we discuss our thoughts on topics relevant to art, work, life and mindset.
In our two recent episodes, we talk about how you can stand out amidst the ever-growing tidal wave of phenomenally talented artists online, and what we make of this whole AI art trend and how you can keep up- whether you intend to adopt it or stay well away from it.
Our primary aim is to make these videos honest, candid and encouraging. We hope you find them uplifting and enlightening!
Reflection
Weekly prompts to encourage self-reflection and help you discover impactful things about yourself, your art and your career.
What is your favourite part of the art-making process?
What is your least favourite part of the art-making process?
Can you make any changes to your approach with these in mind?
Showcase
Each week, I share the work of other people here. Be sure to check out their pages and show them some love! To find out how to get featured, click here.
Resource
Calling all Procreate users! Justin Donaldson just dropped a new brush pack. If you love creamy, painterly textures but struggle with that overly-digital look, this pack will be a life saver.
And even better: it's pay-what-you-want . Yes, that can be $0! Although, I will say, it means the world to us when you drop us a donation. It's the generosity of those who can spare it that enables artists to spend the time to create resources for those who can't.
